Teresa Kerry flees New York and ends up back in Tinkponia, Iowa. The Kerry camp is sending representatives to bring her back. I appears that Teresa found her way into the Albert J. Hoe Memorial High School and disrupted a student planning committee assembly for the Fall Corn Roast Festival. Mrs. Kerry stormed the stage and began to flick what appear to be spitballs at the stunned students. She was escorted out of the auditorium and was rumored to be under the care of a doctor. No one is quite sure what set her off.
Senator Kerry addressed a group of recovering psychiatric patients who have a rare phobia about being touched. The Senator commended the people for perseverance in their treatment and recovery. He then reminisced about his childhood problems with his older brother , Stewy Kerry. The Senator related how Stewy would hold his finger close to him and repeatedly say. “I’m not touching you, I’m not touching you.” The candidate then demonstrated Stewy’s action on his wife who was standing next to him. Teresa smiled but left the stage soon after. The Senator concluded the talk with a group hug.
At a town meeting in this small farming community, Teresa and John Kerry exhibited some strange behaviors. In the past few months the Kerry campaign has been spending and enormous amount of time crisscrossing the Iowa farm belt. Some sources close to the campaign say it is due to Teresa’s strange compulsion to keep returning to Iowa for no apparent reason. Some say she is cracking under the strain of constant campaigning. Senator Kerry is also starting to feel the effects of the long hard days of public appearances. Both the candidate and his wife seem to get into a zone when speaking to the Iowans. The people of this down to earth state are very polite and will sit for hours as the speeches go on and on. During today’s speech, Teresa was suppose to introduce the Senator but she digressed into a long talk about fields of Buttercups she remembered from her childhood in Mozambique. She also referred to the Presidential candidate as her Butterfly Boy. The Senator seemed non-pulsed at the ramblings of his wife and was observed staring intently at Teresa’s hat. It was also observed that he had put some marbles onto the brim of Teresa headwear and seemed to just watch them roll around and around. No comment from the Kerry camp on these developments.
